"Fame Kills" Tour Update :)

She was born on March 28,1986. He was born June 8, 1977. She's 23. He's 32. She got early admission into Tisch High School of the Arts art NYU. He attended Polaris High School. She was writing songs for artists like the Pussycat Dolls by 20 years old, while he was dedicated to producing music and dropped out of college. She says she "want[s] to trick people into hanging with something that is really cool with a pop song." He says he "dropped out of school because [he] wasn't learning enough." She is Lady Gaga. He is Kanye West. This paparazzi-loving, pop star and careless, dope rap star were supposed to collaborate as headliners for their most anticipated tour, "Fame Kills," but made a mutual decision to let Kanye have time for himself. He was removed from the tour by his decision, but Lady Gaga decided to go on without him. She starts the "Fame Kills" tour in 2-3 weeks. Let's see what she does without her idealistic partner, Kanye.

All who watch the RHOA every Thursday night on Bravo! know they're in for some D-R-A-M-A! First, it was the beef between Kim and NeNe that had the blog sites going crazy! Now it's the beef between Lisa and Kim as well as Lisa and Sheree. Watching that show is like having a job seeing as there's so much going on! My Oceans 7 history; Plus Oceans cover J'Adore Magazine! Owww! ;)

Many people (including me) tune in every week to watch Jermaine Dupri and the Oceans 7 on Living the Life. The Oceans 7 includes: Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael-Cox, Tyrone, Johnta Austin, Trey Songz, Nelly and Usher. The Oceans have been called "major pioneers in the music game." They always make sure their swagg is through the roof when they enter a public place and always stay on top of not only music, but they also stay on top of trends and start many of them on their own. They released their mixtape "That 3000 and 9 S*it" late May 2009.

I will say, I was a little skeptical about downloading their mixtape at first not only because it was my first mixtape, but also because I didn't know any of the guys had been working on anything. But believe me obsessers, once I downloaded that greatness, I couldn't STOP listening to it. I HAD to know what the next line, hook and verse would be before I turned off my iPod (which was extremely hard to do). They remade many great songs like "Aint I" (Yung LA feat. T.I.), and "Day N Nite" (Kid Cudi). They also took the "owe me sex" sample from Kayne's verse in "I Put On" (w/ Young Jeezy) and made a song out of that.

I say all this to say that the Oceans 7 will be on the cover of the next J'Adore Magazine, which hits stands nationwide on September 7th. There's a video of them at the J'Adore photoshoot below. :)

FINALLY....MY "SO GOOD" HAS ARRIVED! (FOR LADIES AND QUEENS ONLY!) ;)

When I pre-ordered Day26's somphomore album from iTunes, I was excited to see what they had in store the second time around since their first album was off the chain! LOL. When I started listening, their new sound sort took my ears to another level. I was impressed. Still, there were just some songs I COULDN'T STOP LISTENING TO! These songs include: "Shawty, Whats Up," "Girlfriend," "Imma Put it on Her," and "So Good", which I'm about to show you the video for.

Day 26 is also making 8 music videos to be released on Yahoo Music on August 25th. I'll be watching, but in the meantime, I'll also be watching this great music video! "So Good" is my favortie song on the album, and after you see this video, it'll be yours too.

Nick Cannon/Lebron James "More Than A Game"

Nick Cannon (along with Lebron James, Darrius Snow, and Chris Paul) attended the premiere of documentary entitled "More Than A Game" in Akron, Ohio. The documentary is from first-time director Kris Belman, who followed Lebron James and his four childhood friends as they grew up playing basketball. Along with his former teammates, Dru Joyce III, Willie McGee, and Romeo Travis, Lebron seemed visibly emotional at the end of it all when the screening of the documentary recieved a five-minute standing ovation. Here's what Lebron himself had to say after the event.

BREAKING NEWS! Bow Wow Signs with Young Money Entertainment!

Shad Moss (Bow Wow) has finally made his big ANNOUNCEMENT! He's officially been signed to Young Money along with Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Twist and many other greats. For the last week and a half on twitter, Bow has been tweeting about this big "announcement" that would be made on Monday, August 17th. All day yesterday, fans were anticipating this. Last night at 12:00am these were Bow's EXACT words via twitter:

Rihanna was spotted earlier today leaving the set of “Run This Town” directed by Anthony Mandler. According to Rap Radar, DJ Clue, Jay-Z, Kanye and Amber were also spotted on set. This video will be a huge comeback for Rihanna as well as an upcoming performance in September with Jay-z and Kanye on the Jay Leno show.

Honestly...Can DQue (Dawn and Que) get any closer? LOL :)

Dawn and Que attended the one-year anniversary of Cocktails August 5. This relationship started on Making the Band season two when Diddy forced their two groups (Day26 and Danity Kane) to live together in one house! Dawn and Que became closer after the season ended and eventually started dating. Their bond hasn't been broken since. And they're not afraid to show the world. :) Cute.

Danger recently visited 106 and Park as an audience member and when Terrence J spotted and spoke to her, she revealed that she was dating Gabriel Cannon (Nick Cannon's little brother). Eminem's video "We Made You" was still on the countdown then, and conveniently it was the next video. When asked if she wanted to introduce the next video, Danger shouted: "I HATE EMINEM! LEAVE THE CANNONS ALONE!" into the mic. Well, long story short, she's pregnant now! Could said Cannon be the baby's father?

Chris Brown: Sentencing delayed until August 27th!

Chris Brown was spotted walking out of court yesterday and looked pretty relaxed, but anxious. Though the world was holding their breath to see how soon it would be until the next Chris Brown album, the sentencing has been delayed until Aug. 27th. The judge wants him to do hard labor for his community service but the state of Virginia has not arranged what type of work he would be doing yet. Chris Brown is supposed to be appearing on Larry King Live later on this week. In the meantime, Star Magazine reportedly spoke to Rihanna's mother who said:

"I’m devastated, but what can I do? We love her but can’t stand to see her play Russian roulette with her life. Chris has a bizarre power over her. She still loves him and he knows it. In her eyes, he’s a god. Even after what he did, it’s not diminished..."

Legacy and Ben J (New Boyz) made a dance called "jerkin", which originated on the west coast, hot by adding their own flavor and STYLE to everything they do. Numerous rappers, singers, and HATERS have made negative comments about the way they dress. Mainly, they're negative feedback was directed toward the skinny jeans that the New Boyz wear. So...skinny jeans fit a little more...so what? Their clothes don't make them who they are. One thing I was glad to hear was that they aren't going to change themselves for anyone. Skye, born Skylar Christan Townsend, took her first breath on September 1st, 1993. The Santa Monica native began singing at the tender age of three years old. Her father, comedian and director Robert Townsend, has helped to guide Skye with her career and she clearly displays a close bond with him.At the age of thirteen, she decided to take a leap of faith and put her videos on Youtube™. She continued to create more although she was concerned with how people would percieve her and whether she'd be understood. Two years later the fifteen year old singer has been featured on several mainstream blogs [MediaTakeOut, Black Celebrity Kids, Bossip, and the Pastry website] and collectively has a total of over 2.5 million hits on Youtube. Infront of the camera, it may appear that Skye just sits and makes videos with tons of time to spare however the creative artist has quite alot under her sleeves.For the past year, Skye has been designing and hopes to release a clothing line in early 2010 and has been having discussions with several well known major record labels. In May of 2009, Skye began completing a demo and hopes to take over the music industry with a different flavor. Not only does she sing R&B but has studied pieces with classical, rock, pop, latin, italian, french, acoustic, reggae and broadway influences. She hopes to present a variety in sounds wrapped up in one genre to attract the attention of all types of people.The Skye is the Limit for this old soul and big things are destined to happen! LaLa and Melo go shopping! Owww! ;)

Basketball player Carmelo Anthony and fiance Lala Vazquez were spotted shopping at Malibu Lumber Yard and James Perse this weekend in California. According to the paps (whom I don't believe), the duo didn’t look too happy with each other. Anthony became engaged to La La Vasquez on Christmas Day, ‘04. They have a son, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony, born in March of ‘07. This is one of the few great relationships in the world of super-stardom. I love Melo and LaLa together. Hopefully this one will last. I'd be highly upset if it didn't! They're my favorite. :)

Drake opens up about "Angels and Demons" blog.

Drake took to his blog earlier today and updated his fans on his condition and his career.

He writes:
"Re: Angels and Demons
This bottle of Opus One is low but my spirits are high my friends. I am about 2 hours away from Toronto, CA where I will be spending the next chunk of time recovering from a surgery that I now must have. I embarked on this tour with a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL and due to the events that happened the other night lord only knows what other damage I have done. On the bright side I will begin the reflecting and soul searching that its going to take to make this album and my outfit on the night I fell was crack. I will forever push myself beyond the limits despite advice and recommendations given because even with this new found success I am still the kid who wanted this more than anything in the world. Its funny when I read comments from previous fans who have lost interest because of the radio play and exposure I have. I just want to assure anyone reading that nothing has changed on my end. I refuse to get comfortable, I refuse to fall in line and follow anyone else’s formulas. I still work as if So Far Gone had never dropped and I’m still trying to figure out how I’m going to gain entry to this game.
